GMCA Argues Against Extension of Trinity Lane Tower
On Sept. 16, the Upper Merion Township Zoning Hearing Board considered an application of Clearwire US LLC to request a variance to permit an 8’ extension of an existing 110’ “stealth tree tower” for the collocation of wireless communications antenna at roughly 118’. The tower, said to be owned by AT&T, is located at 1050 Trinity Lane(aka 1050 Trinity Road). Hearing To Be Held on Dwelling Units, Holstein Road
The Upper Merion Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public meeting Wednesday, June 17, at 7pm at the Upper Merion Township Building, 175 West Valley Forge Road to hear an application regarding 276 Holstein Road. This is an appeal relative to the number of dwelling units and the number of unrelated individuals occupying the dwelling.
Garden Party a success! (6/16/09)
The 2009 GMCA Annual Garden Party was held on June 13th. Members enjoyed the hospitality of John and Pat Kolea at their home in Gulph Mills. Those who attended were treated to interesting
conversations and delicious refreshments in a picturesque garden setting. It was a great opportunity to catch up with our neighbors. Our thanks to the committee who made this happen.

Henderson Road Ramps Progress
The Henderson Road Ramps project is 14% complete, according to this website about federal stimulus funding for Pennsylvania. The current estimated completion date of the project is June 19, 2012. (posted 3/14/10)

Funding for Henderson Road ramps (3/7/09)
A recent story in the Philadelphia Inquirer mentioned funding for th Henderson Road ramps project. The GMCA has supported this project for some time. According to the story, "Stimulus money will also pay for relocating the westbound Schuylkill Expressway on-ramp from South Gulph Road to Henderson Road several blocks west in Montgomery County. A westbound off-ramp will be added at that location."
